Twenty-Nine

Spending the day with Crisis Negotiators in Training was new. I was the only real actor among real cops, some of whom volunteered to role-play.
I played a suicidal pregnant teen for 4 hours, breaking down & crying a couple of times while locking myself in a bathroom stall (so many school buildings are very old!). None of them got me out from there either.
Feeling drained then off to work for a few hours made the day even longer yet fulfilling. I love reality improv and I look forward to more of it.
I haven’t done hospitals.

Yet.

Cough.

    • Oh yeah. It’s not until next spring though, but I’m role-playing for a Law Society next month. It doesn’t pay, but I consider it a free class.

I meant the police thing doesn’t pay, but the Law Society does.
